BRANDING A BUSINESS HUB FOR A SMALL TOWN

The Decatur Chamber of Commerce is the Chamber of Commerce for Decatur, Texas. They provide endless resources to business owners, and give business owners a voice in their community. They also provide many incentives for members, such as posting Job Listings and member-to-member discounts.
The Decatur Chamber of Commerce understood the importance of having a strong digital presence, so they turned to ThinkMents for a new website design that could serve multiple purposes. In addition to creating a visually appealing and user-friendly website, we also helped them capture high-quality video footage around town with our drones and cameras. The footage would not only be used to enhance the website, but it could also be utilized for future marketing efforts, such as commercials or social media ads. We made sure to optimize the videos for various platforms and audiences, and worked closely with the Chamber to ensure their brand message was effectively conveyed. By incorporating videography into their digital marketing strategy, the Chamber was able to reach a wider audience and showcase all that Decatur has to offer.

PROJECT: A NEW WEBSITE WITH SEO, AND VIDEOGRAPHY

The Decatur Chamber of Commerce wanted to replace their outdated website and reached out to ThinkMents for help. We got started immediately, creating a website that not only looks great but also attracts visitors. The website serves multiple purposes: it acts as a hub for business owners in the city, a tourist site for travelers passing through Decatur, and a digital archive for the city's history.

To make the website even more engaging, we captured some basic video footage with our drones and cameras to showcase the city's charm. The results have been impressive - since the beginning of 2021, the website has had over 15,000 visitors, with an average of 1,658 users per month. What's more, many of these users are returning visitors, which is a great indication of a successful website.

We are proud to say that this is our largest website to date, with over 80 pages of optimized content. Our goal was to create a website that not only looks great but also has a strong web presence, making it easier for people to discover the city of Decatur online.
